We’re new to mulberries, so weren’t quite sure when they were ripe. We jumped the gun a bit, and the kids were unimpressed with the first few berries of the season a week or so ago.
They’ve come around now, though, and the kids have made mulberry eating a primary pastime. We have a large tree by the bend in the driveway that is prolific in its production and has a lot of easy-to-reach branches, and a few smaller trees scattered around other places.
For some reason we have no photos of the kids eating mulberries. The only traces are the stained fingers, faces and clothes!
Mmmm.
